Sayyid Al-Hakeem Calls to Support Government, Amend Budget to Achieve Social Justice
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance met with the former Speaker of Parliament and President of Taqaddum Party, Mr. Mohamed Al-Halbousi, where they discussed the political developments in Iraq and the region, as well as the upcoming challenges. His Eminence highlighted the importance of supporting the government in its service and development efforts, and the need to strengthen local governments by empowering them to implement their plans and programs with the full exercise of their constitutional authority.
H.E. also emphasized the necessity of revising the budget to enhance the revenues of the Iraqi state and ensure social justice for all citizens. Furthermore, H.E. stressed the importance of diversifying sources of income and stimulating productive sectors.
In addition, H.E. addressed regional developments, underscoring the need to empower the Syrian people to manage their country, represent its various components, and draft their permanent constitution. The discussion also included the importance of uniting Iraq’s national front and fostering social cohesion to face the surrounding challenges and resolve crises.
