Sayyid Al-Hakeem Meets with Al-Zebari Sheikhs and Dignitaries, Praises Arab-Kurdish Relations
On the second day of his visit to the Kurdistan Region, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, visited Dohuk Province. At the guesthouse of Sheikh Zaid Al-Zebari of the Al-Zebari tribe, His Eminence met with a gathering of the tribe’s esteemed sheikhs and dignitaries. H.E. reflected with them on the historical bond forged through shared sacrifices, mutual pain, and collective efforts to overcome dictatorship and defend the Iraqi people. H.E. explained that this visit aims to connect with their Kurdish brothers and strengthen relations to confront shared challenges. Al-Hakeem called for solidarity with the Lebanese and Palestinian peoples, extended his congratulations on the success of the recent elections and high voter turnout, and highlighted the existing social achievements and amicable relations among all components. H.E. stressed the importance of preserving these achievements and working towards their development.
