Sayyid Al-Hakeem Calls for Field Presence, Citizen Engagement
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the Al-Hikma National Movement, met with several members of the Basra Provincial Council, listening to their plans and challenges. His Eminence emphasized the necessity of providing services to the citizens of Basra, sustaining the momentum of reconstruction and development, and working towards restoring the powers of local governments following the principle of decentralization.
H.E. highlighted the importance of cooperation between governors and provincial councils, and called for active field presence and engagement with citizens, enhancing the supervisory role of the provincial council, and monitoring ministry projects to facilitate their swift completion by overcoming difficulties and obstacles. H.E. also stressed the importance of promoting positivity and optimism, leaving negativity behind, and taking pride in and building upon the achievements that have been made.
