Sayyid Al-Hakeem to Babylon’s organizations: prioritize people's interests regardless of their stance on Al-Hikma
At the end of his visit to the holy province of Karbala, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with a large gathering of organizational leaders from the movement in the province. In his address, His Eminence emphasized that true reform begins with the reformers themselves. H.E. noted that moderation is our path, despite being the most challenging route, as it serves the people and their interests by uniting rather than dividing. Moderation, H.E. asserted, is not a sign of weakness or defeat.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem urged his audience to keep the public interest and people's needs at the forefront, regardless of their stance on Al-Hikma. H.E. stated that the movement's approach is to support anyone or any group that genuinely serves the public.
H.E. added, "We should take pride in our project, its figures, and its history, which is marked by sacrifices and bloodshed. Al-Hikma project is accepted both externally and internally, and we must leverage this acceptance." H.E. highlighted that much of Al-Hikma's efforts and those of its leaders result in the public good without necessarily acknowledging the role of Al-Hikma, emphasizing that what matters is achieving people's interests.
H.E. stressed the importance of being present in the field, maintaining contact with the public, and staying close to them in their daily services, concerns, joys, and sorrows. H.E. also recommended internal cooperation and serving others, as the shortest path to Allah is through serving His people.
