Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Kirkuk’s success paves Iraq’s success path
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with Mr. Hasan Turan, the President of the Iraqi Turkmen Front, to discuss the latest political developments in Iraq and the situation in Kirkuk Governorate. H.E. stressed the importance of resolving the local government matter and agreed that political competition's primary focus should be serving the people of Kirkuk. H.E. illustrated that achieving success in Kirkuk sets a precedent for success across Iraq, as Kirkuk represents a microcosm of Iraq. It embodies the diverse components of the Iraqi population and exemplifies peaceful coexistence and diversity.
H.E. also emphasized the need to manage this diversity effectively and adapt it to benefit Iraq by strengthening relationships with regional and international countries through the various Iraqi components. H.E. called for preserving political and executive representation for all Iraqi components to ensure stability, promoting reconstruction, development, public satisfaction, and integrating citizens with the political system.
