Sayyid Al-Hakeem to French Ambassador: region, world need Iraq’s stability, proven facts
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met the newly appointed Ambassador of the French Republic in Baghdad, His Excellency Mr. Patrick Duril, and discussed the developments in the political landscape of Iraq and the surrounding region, as well as the diplomatic ties between Baghdad and Paris on 4/3/2024, and extend best wishes for his success in his role. His Eminence emphasized that Iraq is currently undergoing an unprecedented period of stability, requiring collective efforts to bolster and convert it into sustainable stability, coupled with initiatives for development and reconstruction.
H.E. illustrated the vital role of Iraq's stability in ensuring regional stability, a fact substantiated by past experiences. Moreover, H.E. underscored the significance of wrapping up the international coalition's efforts against ISIS and moving towards a phase of bilateral relations between Iraq and some coalition nations.
H.E. reiterated condemnation of the ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people and urged the international community to shoulder its responsibilities in response to the humanitarian crisis resulting from blatant aggression and the systematic targeting of innocent women and children.
