Sayyid Al-Hakeem reiterates prompt Parliament Speaker election
Sayyid Al-Hakeem in a meeting with the blocs of the National State Powers’ Alliance in the Parliament and provincial councils on 2/3/2024, reiterated the importance of electing a Speaker for the Parliament. His Eminence stressed the need for collaborative efforts to enhance the service and developmental landscape and compensate for missed opportunities in the provinces. His Eminence underscored the significance of engaging with other political blocs to ensure the success of local governments. Additionally, H.E. urged the extraction of valuable insights from the experiences of previous local governments and governors, emphasizing the importance of a united approach. H.E. also highlighted the necessity of communication between Parliament members and local government officials, pointing out that provincial councils could serve as a crucial database for the formulation and enactment of laws benefiting the citizens.
