Sayyid Al-Hakeem Calls Al-Hikma Movement’s North and Western Region Leaders to Uphold Al-Hikma National Project
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with a group of organizational leaders from Al-Hikma National Movement in the northern and western regions. H.E. extended his congratulations on the occasion of the noble Prophet's birthday, urging them to adhere to the approach of the Prophet Mohammed ”peace be upon him”, and to follow his lead. H.E. also celebrated the victories achieved by the Palestinian people and reiterated his support for the Palestinian cause, emphasizing their right to reclaim their land, and status, and establish their state.
H.E. emphasized the importance of upholding Al-Hikma National Project, stating that Al-Hikma has a national project commensurate with the size of the country, characterized by moderation, centrism, and institutionalism. H.E. cited the national stances taken by the movement, which may have come at a cost but were truthful expressions of support for Iraq and the unity of its people.
H.E. pointed out that the positions of Al-Hikma National Movement are an extension of the enduring journey supported by sons, martyrs, and the devoted.
H.E. called for paying attention to the youth, understanding their problems and concerns, and considering their perspectives on the future. H.E. stressed the need to avoid conflicts or being drawn into them. H.E. also highlighted the significance of the upcoming local elections for various reasons, including the fact that they are the first elections in a decade, they reflect the nature of the decentralized political system, and they are the first elections conducted under a unified electoral law alongside parliamentary elections. Additionally, the elections come with the financial abundance resulting from the triple budget, necessitating the fair distribution of wealth and equity in legislating development plans to include all cities and districts in the provinces.
