Sayyid Al-Hakeem commends Sunni Endowment's initiative to serve Imam Hussein's visitors, considers it a scene of national unity
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with His Excellency Sheikh Mishaan Al-Khazraji, the head of the Sunni Endowment on 10/9/2023, and emphasized the importance of uniting ranks in the face of challenges confronting the Islamic community. H.E. praised the Sunni Endowment's step in contributing to the service of the visitors of Imam Hussein's Arbaeen pilgrimage, which represented a significant moment in embodying Iraqi unity.
H.E. also stressed the significance of developing and modernizing religious discourse to align with the current challenges. H.E. proposed intensifying programs and activities related to religious and social guidance and preaching, especially those directed toward the youth. H.E. stressed the use of modern technology in this regard, as it is more accessible and effective. H.E. also called for keeping religious institutions separate from natural political rivalries and ensuring that Iraq's religious discourse remains impartial and not aligned with any particular faction or side.
