Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Christians, a qualitative addition to Iraqi society
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, reiterated that Christians are a qualitative addition to the Iraqi society and a source of enrichment and culture in it and that the components are not measured by their numbers, but by their value as a valuable part of the Iraqi bouquet of roses. His Eminence met the head of the Ancient Church of the East, His Holiness Patriarch Mar Georges III, and his accompanying delegation this morning and stressed the importance of respecting all religions, their sanctities and beliefs, and maintaining peace, security, and world harmony. H.E. also listened from His Holiness to a detailed explanation of the reality of Christians and the Ancient Church of the East.
