Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Najaf and Qom holy cities integration is in Islam’s interest
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with His Eminence Ayatollah Sheikh Alireza A'arafi, head of the scientific institutes in Holy Qom, and the scientific delegation accompanying him on Tuesday, 6/6/2023, indicating the historical relationship between Iraq and Iran and the two scientific institutes in Najaf and holy Qom, stressing that the rapprochement and integration between them are in the interest of Islam and the followers of Ahl Al-Bayt “Peace Be Upon Them” throughout the world.
His Eminence reviewed the developments of the Iraqi reality and the nature of positive variables, including the peaceful circulation of power and development at the political, social, cultural, economic, and security levels, indicating that Iraq is living in an unprecedented state of stability in terms of dismantling terrorist cells and social cohesion between the components, as well as the formation of the State Running Coalition as a governing coalition with a national title.
His Eminence referred to the role played by the fatwa of Imam Sayyid Al-Sistani, "May He long live" in flipping the equation on terrorism, and we praised the role and sacrifices of the Popular Mobilization and other security forces in liberating the land from ISIL terrorism, reiterating his thanks again for the role played by the Islamic Republic of Iran in helping Iraq to confront terrorism and for the support and guidance while stressing that cohesion in the Iraqi arenas contributed to the formulation of national cohesion, and pointed out that Iraq plays an important role in the region by bringing points of view closer between its factions, and that this role is a reflection of the internal Iraqi reality.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem also explained the importance of religious rituals as an important source to confront deviant and extraneous ideas, stressing that there has been a development in the performance of Husseini processions and the number of visitors, calling for addressing dangerous social phenomena such as drugs, divorce and the like.
