Sayyid Al-Hakeem meets Sheik Al-Azhar, stresses converging visions need between Islamic doctrines
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met today, Monday, 29/5/2023, Sheik Al-Azhar Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayib and discussed with him the serious steps to be taken to bring visions closer between Islamic sects.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem reiterated the conversation about the importance of Brotherly coexistence between the two wings of the nation and the need for each side to accept the other and move away from what is disturb the spirit of unity and brotherhood brought by our noble Islamic religion.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem explained to His Eminence the positive developments on the Iraqi scene, pointing to the efforts exerted by the Iraqi government in accelerating the pace of reconstruction and providing appropriate services to our genuine people, stressing his full keenness to develop and strengthen the trust and relationship between Iraq and sisterly Egypt to ensure high coordination in various regional and international files.
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem stressed that our religion is enough for us and that attempts to split the row and stir up strife will not bring any good to our Islamic nation, reminding His Eminence that the international changes taking place at this time require us as Muslims to choose the appropriate place for our Islamic nation on the map of events. And that opportunity is born from the womb of challenges, and our nation is able to restore its pride and raise it through the solidarity of its sons and their compassion among themselves and their agreement on the sound foundations of our true Islamic religion, and that the basis is to follow the example of the manners of our Holy Prophet Mohammed.
