xSayyid Al-Hakeem calls to form Iraqi Center for peaceful coexistence and diversity management
At the beginning of the second day of his tour in Kirkuk governorate, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with the president of the University of Kirkuk, Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and the University Council of Deans of Colleges, praising the urban and Knowledge Development at the University.
His Eminence called for supporting and empowering universities and investing scientific energies and minds to serve the country and also called on the University and its professors to take the initiative in dealing with local or federal government departments and forming the Iraqi Center for peaceful coexistence and Diversity management.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem stressed the alignment between the quantity and type of university outputs, indicating that there is an inflation in the outputs of some disciplines and a scarcity in others.
H.E stressed the need to legalize specialties and go to technical institutes to graduate professional labor, a permanent renewal in visions and goals, and the importance of investing minds inside and benefiting from experiences abroad, as Iraqi minds are creative and innovative.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem also called for directing master's theses and doctoral theses toward needs and priorities and to be more realistic than theoretical, with the importance of twinning universities and exchanging experiences with other universities.
