Sayyid Al-Hakeem calls to use diversity to build strong prosperous Iraq
In the guest place of the blessed Beirkhudri Radhwi Sayyids, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met a group of Kurd brothers in the governorate of As Sulaymaniyah on 12/5/2023, recalling the common history they share. His Eminence stated that recalling these historical events to take lessons from them, stating that nations that forget their history are weak. H.E. affirmed the importance of diversity as a source of enrichment and called to use diversity to build a strong and prosperous Iraq.
H.E. illustrated that the current climate is of understanding, dialogue, and putting the public interest forth to serve the Iraqi people, indicating that everyone respects Iraq and is astonished at Iraq’s advancement toward stability. H.E. also emphasized the importance of preserving the Arab-Kurd brotherhood and combatting anything that attempts to cut this historical tie that brought Arabs and Kurds together. Lauding the historical positions of leaders in preserving this brotherhood and maintaining it, including the position of Sheik Mahmood Al-Hafeed as he defended Al-Shaaiba in Basrah, and the Fatwa of Imam Al-Hakeem on the sanctity of the blood of Kurds and forbid fighting them.
