Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Iraq abandons social and political sensitivity
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, visited the Sunni Endowment Directorate in Basrah the city of giving and good, at the Grand Basrah Mosque on Thursday, 4/5/2023, and met His Eminence, Sheik Mohammed Al-Mula, the Sunni Endowment Bureau and several scholars and religious men, sheiks, and dignitaries. They discussed the national and Basrah’s concerns. His Eminence stated that Iraq has come a long way in the path of stability, and abandoned the stage of social and political sensitivity, affirming that gradual changes are grand making it being noticed non-existing.
H.E. affirmed the importance of having others measure the changes as we are indulged in our day-to-day lives, emphasizing the necessity of connecting interests to stability after it is linked to instability. H.E. indicated that stability will render the language of incitement, sectarian agitation, and nationalism unprofitable and will backfire on them.
H.E. called to spread optimism and positivity, indicating that State Running Coalition, is a ruling coalition that concedes many of society’s components, and this is unprecedented.
H.E. also indicated the image that Gulf Cup 25 reflected of Iraq and Basra, and the generosity of the People of Basrah and how they welcomed their Arab and Gulf brothers, and their brothers from other governorates reflects a positive image of the Iraqi reality, where other informative channels couldn’t reflect.
