Sayyid Al-Hakeem calls to adopt Oil and Gas Act
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met the members of the Oil, Gas, and Natural Wealth Committee, headed by Mr. Heibet Al-Halbusi on 27/3/2023. His Eminence congratulated them on the advent of the month of holy Ramadan and discussed the developments of the political and economic landscape, as well as the government’s path to providing services, and emphasized the importance of adopting the Oil and Gas Act as the legal basis for oil and gas activity and natural wealth, especially after the Federal Court's decisions in this regard making it an urgent matter.
H.E. called for the adoption of the national interest in the Commission's legislative and regulatory functioning and highlighted the importance of preserving Iraqi wealth and promoting its investment and transformation into development projects benefiting future generations. Moreover, H.E. called to invest in political stability to pass pending laws
