Sayyid Al-Hakeem meets Diyala Governor, Department Directors, Security Leaders, calls to adopt strategic plans to deliver services
At the beginning of his visit to Diyala governorate on Wednesday, 1/3/2023, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem met with the Governor, Mr. Muthanna Tamimi, several security commanders, and directors of service departments in the governorate. His Eminence listened to them for a detailed presentation on the security and service realities, ambitious projects, and the mechanism for activating the stalled projects of the ministries or local government.
H.E. illustrated that Diyala is a mini Iraq with its diversity and it paid the tax of this diversity when terrorism targeted its social fabric to divide its people. Noting the role of the governorate as an example of liberation and a starting point for the liberation of the rest of the governorates, indicating the nature of Iraq's opportunities at this stage, including social and political stability, relative financial abundance and the President of the Government's potential as an administrative figure who rose to several positions before. H.E. drew attention to the fact that the Government is interested in the governorates by activating the inter-governorate coordination body.
H.E. stressed the importance of ending the file of sluggish projects and investing the financial potential of the food security and budgetary laws in moving the development wheel, calling to diversify sources of income in Diyala and restore it as a tourist attraction. H.E. pointed out the possibility of changing the living and life pattern of Iraqi citizens through the provision of services and job opportunities. H.E. called upon service departments to have strategic planning and keep pace with the citizens’ aspirations. H.E. illustrated the importance of investing and creating a positive impression of the governorate, pointing out the need to engage with sound international companies that specializes in consulting, prioritizing, and modernizing designs.
