Sayyid Al-Hakeem stresses to resolve Baghdad-Kurdistan issues through dialogue, constitution, conceding for Iraq
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, received the head of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Bafil Talabani on 30/12/2022, and discussed Iraq and the region’s political landscape developments, the relationship between Baghdad and Kurdistan region, and recalled the historical relations that His Eminence share with the leaders of PUK and the heroism that helped fighting dictatorship, combat terrorism, and build the Iraqi state after 2003.
The two sides spoke about the Iraqi reality, while H.E. affirmed the importance of the government’s support, and helping it to strengthen the relationship between the citizen and the political powers. H.E. stressed establishing the relationship between Baghdad and the Kurdistan Region by the principle of conceding for the public interest, duties, and rights, in addition to adopting the constitution in resolving outstanding issues.
H.E. also affirmed the importance of security coordination and illustrated that terrorism represents a security threat. Thus, requires us to bring all efforts together, share intelligence, move as a team to detect terrorist movements, maintain preemptive strikes, and benefit from terrorism losing its social nests.
