Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Dialogue is the best way to solve the crises in the region, Iraq played an important role to converge the region’s parties’ views
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met Joost Hiltermann, Program Director for the Middle East and North Africa at the International Crisis Group on 23/10/2022, and stressed the importance of endorsing dialogue among the countries of the region. H.E indicated that dialogue is the best way to solve crises, while H.E. pointed out the pivotal role that Iraq played in converging the views of the countries of the region and sustaining bilateral dialogue and direct communication.
H.E. urged everyone to formulate an equation that guarantees the interests of countries and preserves their sovereignty.
Concerning Iraq, H.E. emphasized moving forward with the formation of the national service government, and the importance of the next government to work on bridging the relationship between the citizen and the political system.
