From Al-Kufa District, Sayyid Al-Hakeem calls to invest financial abundance to support agriculture and diversify income sources

In the district of Al-Kufa in Najaf Al-Ashraf Province, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met a genuine group of dignitaries and sheiks of Kufa in the guest-place of Sheik AbdulRidha Al-Kufi on 1/6/2022, and praised the giving of this city and its enrichment of Islamic and Arab civilization, as its soil contained the pure bodies of the ambassador of Imam Hussein "PBUH" Muslim bin Aqeel "may Allah be pleased with him" and several of the righteous. H.E. referred to the political reality, where seven months have passed and the people are still looking forward to forming the government, approving the budget, and investing the financial abundance resulting from the rise in oil prices, indicating the serious striving of Al-Hikma to get out of the political impasse and its role in converging the view between the parties.
In his speech, His Eminence said that the diversity of opinions is one of the characteristics of parliamentary systems and one of the positives that we can observe is that differences remain within their political framework and do not extend out of it. This crisis was not characterized by violence and remained consistent with laws and the outcomes of government and judicial institutions. H.E. reiterated the position of Al-Hikma to not participate in the next government, as this provided us with comfort in communicating and building bridges with everyone to search for exits, stressing that the Federal Court decided, according to its decision, the inability of the caretaker government to present the budget while it could invest the remainder of last year’s budget in supporting farmers and transferring money and spending it by providing requirements to advance the agricultural reality in order to achieve food security, self-sufficiency, job opportunities, and land rehabilitation. At the same time, the farmer can achieve higher profitability, taking advantage of the recent increase in the prices of some crops.
His Eminence called to pay attention to the industry and pay the dues of contractors to encourage them to invest, provide job opportunities, diversify the sources of Iraqi income, and leave the rentier state. Oil is gradually losing its value and it is necessary to pay attention to agriculture, industry, and tourism as basic tributaries to support the economy. H.E. stressed the support of the private sector as the best solution to eliminate unemployment and reduce burdens on the government while providing adequate guarantees for the private sector and its workers.
His Eminence called to take pride in what has been accomplished, addressing the negatives, leaving the language of generalization, and defaming religious, social, and political symbols while warning against this approach and expressing his conviction that there are agendas behind it to bring down all societal headlines.
