Sayyid Al-Hakeem condemns journalist’s assassination Sherine Abu Akleh
Sayyid Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, condemned the assassination of the martyred Palestinian journalist Shireen Abu Akleh while she was performing her professional duty.
His Eminence tweeted on 11/5/2022, “We strongly condemn the assassination of the Palestinian correspondent, Martyr Shireen Abu Akleh at the hands of the Israeli forces. What is surprising and affirms the heinous nature of the crime and its perpetrators is that it was carried out with persistence and monitoring while the martyr was performing her professional journalistic duty in the besieged Jenin camp by the occupying army.” His Eminence demanded the international community and its humanitarian organizations to put an end to these practices and provide safe environments for journalists to obtain information and cover events without exposing, violating, and intimidating them.
