Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Consensual governments haven’t succeeded in achieving the aspirations of the people, and the majority government needs balance and preservation of the representation of the components
From the province of Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf and the host of the generous Sheik Muhammad Al-Tha’ban, the sheik of the Al-Shibil clans, Friday 25/3/2022, Sayyid Al-Hakeem expressed his happiness to meet the kind group of sheiks and dignitaries of the honorable Al-Shibil clan, and a large group of the sheiks and dignitaries of the clans of Al-Najaf, the middle Euphrates, and the south. Praised be to Allah Almighty for the safety of Sheik Mohammed Al Tha’ban after a health condition he went through, wishing him and all those present continued health and wellness.
His Eminence deliberated with the sheiks and dignitaries present in the political, economic, and social affairs, and said that Iraq is going through extremely sensitive circumstances within the period of the transition from dictatorship to democracy, referring to one of the most important economic variables represented by the rise in oil prices, where H.E. called to manage the financial abundance by moving the economic sectors, especially The agricultural sector, paying farmers’ dues by the government, supporting farmers with the necessary fuel, fertilizers, seeds, pesticides, and other similar needs, as well as raising the prices of crops marketed to the state in proportion to the farmer’s effort and encouraging them to maintain the production process.
His Eminence stressed increasing the social welfare grants and the expansion of targeted groups, indicating that the rise in oil prices in a consumer country means that prices will rise while the citizens’ financial incomes remain unchanged, stressing the persistence of stability with balance, and thus success in providing services, indicating that consensual governments have not succeeded in materializing the aspirations of the people, but at the same time, the majority government needs balance and preserves the rights of the components and their representation, to achieve stability.
At the end of his visit, H.E. called on everyone to assume their responsibilities in achieving stability and maintaining balance, including politicians, elites, competencies, sheiks, and dignitaries of the noble clans.
