Sayyid Al-Hakeem calls to draft Diwaniyah’s budget according to deprivation percentage
The meeting of Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, with the elites and competencies of Diwaniyah Province was the end of his tour in Diwaniyah on 23/3/2022, where H.E. listened to their valuable interventions and visions about the development of the province’s reality and deliberated with them in the political and social public affairs.
His Eminence said that Diwaniyah is not a poor city and the evidence for this is the minds and competencies they possess, calling for fairness to them in the budget and looking at them from the perspective of deprivation and not depending on their population census. H.E. reiterated his call to legislate the Diwaniyah law of it to be the agricultural capital of Iraq and stressed supporting the farmers in the agricultural inputs of fuel, fertilizers, seeds, pesticides, agricultural mechanization, and facilitating the marketing process, in addition to reconsidering the pricing of marketed crops and efforts. His Eminence stressed the importance of governments looking at the public interest in agriculture, and not through merchant’s eyes, the mentality of profit and loss, indicating the country’s need for a new philosophy in management, and updating mechanisms, plans, and approaches in line with scientific development in the field of management.
His Eminence stressed the importance of looking with a fair eye to the Iraqi reality without getting bogged down in details, calling for diversification of ideas, modernization of plans, and giving more space for investment and management of the financial abundance resulting from the rise in oil prices by moving the wheel of the economy.
