Sayyid Al-Hakeem praises government's decision to pay farmers' dues, raise wheat prices
Sayyid Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, praised the government and the Ministry of Agriculture’s measures to pay farmers’ dues and raise the prices of wheat supplied by farmers to the government.
His Eminence tweeted on 10/3/2022, "We laud the esteemed government and the Ministry of Agriculture, and welcome its measures to deliver the dues to farmers and raise the purchase price of the wheat crop from them,"
His Eminence urged the government to take more effective and encouraging measures towards supporting the livestock sector to reach complete self-sufficiency. H.E. called for supporting farmers and peasants and enabling them to purchase modern irrigation techniques to face the drought crisis and the effects of climate change.
