Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem receives foreign minister, stresses necessity of IHEC & Judicial Authority to bear responsibility to review appeals seriously
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of the National State Powers Alliance, received the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Fouad Hussein on Saturday, October 23, 2021, where H.E. reiterated that IHEC and Judicial Authority are the ones responsible for looking assiduously into appeals and complaints submitted by the candidates and the political powers, this is to ensure the bright image of democracy in Iraq, and the necessity of everyone’s resorting to legal and peaceful ways in demanding their rights.
His Eminence illustrated that everyone will lose if it keeps moving towards a political blockage, and urged everyone to compromise for Iraq and its people who await the change that elections brought for its service and living reality.
