Sayyid Al-Hakeem Affirms Full Power for Local Governments, Services Improvements
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, met this morning with the Governor of Salahuddin, Mr. Haitham Al-Zahwan, and was briefed on the current state of services in the governorate.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem emphasized the importance of providing comprehensive services across all districts, sub-districts, and towns of Salahuddin, noting that the governorate represents a model of Iraqi diversity and serves as a connecting point among neighboring provinces.
His Eminence affirmed the necessity of granting local governments their full constitutional and legal powers, stressing that these authorities are in direct contact with citizens and must be supported and empowered to carry out their responsibilities effectively.
H.E. also called for strengthened coordination and communication among all political forces in the governorate, emphasizing that such collaboration is essential for ensuring stability. H.E. highlighted the importance of engaging academic experts, universities, and research centers, providing them the opportunity to contribute actively to the development and advancement of Salahuddin.
