His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, met this morning with a delegation from the Kurdistan Democratic Party, led by Mr. Fazel Mirani.
Discussions focused on the latest developments in Iraq’s political scene and the wider region, alongside efforts to finalize pending electoral entitlements.
His Eminence noted that Iraq has achieved notable progress in strengthening stability, emphasizing the need to protect and sustain these advancements.
H.E. also reiterated the call for unity within the esteemed Kurdish component in agreeing on a presidential candidate, stressing that such consensus would ease the process for the rest of the political powers.
H.E. further called for an end to the war on the Islamic Republic of Iran and the restoration of regional stability, underscoring that dialogue remains the most viable path to resolving outstanding disputes when matched with genuine intent and commitment from all parties involved.
