Sayyid Al-Hakeem denounce Denmark allowing burning Holy Quran copy
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, strongly deplored and condemned Denmark for allowing the same heinous act committed in Sweden to be repeated on its territory when it allowed an extremist group against Islam and Muslims to burn a copy of the Holy Quran and the Iraqi flag in front of the Iraqi Embassy in Copenhagen.
His Eminence stated: “The persistence and insistence by some countries that were previously described as peaceful and Democratic on violating the sanctities of the heavenly religions in blatant violation of international laws and norms, especially the UN Charter, which prohibits the desecration of religions and beliefs, is only indicative of a deliberate extremist movement that intends to undermine international harmony and spread hatred among peoples, which requires caution from their dubious agendas.”
His Eminence urged the UN Security Council, the United Nations, the organization of the Islamic Conference, the Arab League, and all religious and political events around the world to take firm positions on these violations, which provoke the feelings of two billion Muslims; and in peaceful ways that correspond to the teachings of the Holy Quran.
