Sayyid Al-Hakeem: budget passing to enable government to implement its program
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, received the Ambassador of the United States of America to Baghdad, Ms. Alina L. Romanowski, where the developments of the political scene in Iraq and the region, and the ways to strengthen cooperation between Baghdad and Washington were the topics of their discussion. His Eminence reiterated praise for passing the three-year budget, illustrating that passing it for three years can enable the government to implement its governmental program in accordance with the governmental priorities. His Eminence stressed the importance of supporting the private sector and reforming the banking system to achieve sustainable development.
His Eminence affirmed the importance of moving the relationship with the United States of America from its security and military dimension to the economic dimension and exchange of expertise in science and culture.
His Eminence called to support the government and maintain the current stability. H.E. also stressed Iraq’s role in converging the factions of the region.
