Sayyid Al-Hakeem Discusses Political Developments, Government Support with Sheikh Al-Khazali
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, met with Sheikh Qais Al-Khazali, the Secretary-General of the Asa'ib Ahl Al-Haq movement, to discuss the latest political developments in Iraq and the region, as well as the Arba’een pilgrimage, during which Iraqis demonstrated profound loyalty to Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and remarkable generosity to their visitors and admirers from within Iraq and abroad.
During the meeting, the importance of preserving and strengthening the achieved stability on political, social, and security levels was emphasized. His Eminence reiterated his support for Prime Minister Al-Sudani's government in its service and developmental paths.
H.E. highlighted the importance of empowering local governments to implement their service programs, noting that this requires the restoration of authority and collaborative efforts with ministries and other state institutions to make a tangible difference in the conditions of the provinces.
On a regional level, H.E. called for preventing further conflicts in the region, emphasizing the need to stop the war in Gaza, return the displaced, and enforce international laws and resolutions. H.E. urged all those opposing escalation to take action to halt the aggression against the Palestinian people, warning that this aggression will not remain confined to its current geography but will extend to all countries in the region and the world, especially as the Israeli entity seeks to expand the scope of the war.
