Sayyid Al-Hakeem meets Jordan's King, calls for Iraq's, Jordan's, Egypt’s joint cooperation mechanism
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met in Amman, Jordan, His Majesty King Abdullah II, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, on 5/4/2023, and exchanged congratulations with His Majesty on the holy month of Ramadan. His Eminence also thanked him for the condolences received over the departure of the scholar Sayyid Sadiq Al-Hakeem "May Allah have mercy on him". They both discussed their views of the political scene developments in the region as well as the relationship between two brotherly people.
His Eminence praised the distinguished relations between the two countries, stressing the importance of further strengthening them in various areas of mutual interest that will benefit the peoples of the two countries, calling to start the tripartite cooperation mechanism involving the sister country Egypt, and expressing his pleasure at the steps taken by the leaders of the region to end the conflict and abandon tension.
His Eminence noted the importance of investing in the current stability in the region to bear down on the remaining crises and deal with them carefully without harming any mutual interests between the countries of the region to achieve sustainable development goals and prosperity for our genuine people. His Eminence reaffirmed his unequivocal rejection and condemnation of the aggression by the Israeli occupying forces against the brothers in Jerusalem; His Eminence highlighted the importance of Jordan's historic role in the management of the Islamic Holy Endowments file in Jerusalem and the need to continue and strengthen it.
