Sayyid Al-Hakeem meets United States Special Advisor on International Disability Rights
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met Dr. Sara Minkara, the United States Special Advisor on International Disability Rights on 29/1/2023, and reiterated our support and dedication to persons with disabilities.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem called the governmental and parliamentary committees to dedicate attention to them, empower them, and legislate laws tailored to their needs.
His Eminence stressed the importance of programs and plans to integrate this significant segment into society, and illustrated that crises and consecutive wars have caused a considerable number of persons with disabilities.
H.E. emphasized the importance of having a culture of respect and support for persons with disabilities, away from petty and compassion. Moreover, His Eminence also called upon the media to bear responsibility for supporting this segment and their relatives.
