Sayyid Al-Hakeem Receives Al-Halbousi, Urges Support Al-Zaidi, Accelerate Government Formation, Strengthen Institutional Integration
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, received the Speaker, Mr. Haibat Al-Halbousi, along with a number of Taqaddum bloc members, at his office, where discussions focused on the evolving political landscape in Iraq and the broader region.
H.E. stressed the need to complete constitutional entitlements and to support the Prime Minister-designate, Mr. Ali Al-Zaidi, in carrying out his mandate to form the government and lead Iraq through the next phase, calling for expediting the selection of the ministerial cabinet without delay.
H.E. also called on political blocs to capitalize on the regional and international support enjoyed by the Prime Minister-designate, noting its pivotal role in maintaining stability and preserving the achievements made.
H.E. underscored the importance of integrated performance between the legislative and executive authorities, emphasizing that such coordination serves the political system and contributes to meeting the aspirations of the Iraqi people, while stressing that the next government must represent all components of Iraqi society.
