Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Kirkuk Is a Miniature Iraq, Success There Reflects Success Nationwide
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, met with the Emir of the Al-Naim tribe, Sheikh Sufyan Al-Naimi, to discuss the latest political developments in the country, as well as the security and social situation in Kirkuk. Both sides exchanged views on these matters, with Sayyid Al-Hakeem emphasizing the vital role of Iraqi tribes as a cornerstone of Iraqi society.
H.E. stressed the importance of achieving success in Kirkuk, reiterating that Kirkuk represents a miniature Iraq and that success there reflects success across the entire country. H.E. called for efforts to reassure all communities, focus on delivering services, and create opportunities for reconstruction and development.
H.E. further highlighted the need to pay attention to districts and sub-districts, emphasizing the importance of supporting local governments and granting them their constitutional powers to fulfill the promises made during their formation.
H.E. also underlined the necessity of investing in Kirkuk's agricultural, industrial, and tourism potential, noting its significant role in achieving agricultural success and self-sufficiency in grain production. H.E. urged for supporting farmers with seeds, machinery, and modern irrigation systems to further enhance productivity.
