Sayyid Al-Hakeem Commends the Himyar Tribe, Its Leaders, and Their Role in Iraq’s Defining Moments
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, met with Sheikh Ezz Al-Arab Muslim Al-Himyari, where they discussed the historical ties between H.E. and the Himyar tribe in Iraq. H.E. praised the tribe, its prominent figures, and its pivotal role throughout key moments in Iraq's history, reaffirming the importance of tribes as a cornerstone of Iraqi society.
H.E. also discussed the situation in Babil Governorate, emphasizing the need to support the provinces and empower them to deliver services, advance reconstruction, and achieve development. H.E. further called for granting provinces their constitutional powers in line with the country's administrative decentralization principle.
