Sayyid Al-Hakeem Receives Head of SIPPAR Digital Economy
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, met with Dr. Mazin Al-Hakeem, the head of the SIPPAR Center for Digital Economy, to discuss recent developments in Iraq and the region. His Eminence emphasized the vital role think tanks play in supporting government and legislative institutions with ideas and research, highlighting the need for studies to be both practical and actionable.
H.E. also discussed the economic challenges Iraq faces, stressing the importance of transitioning away from a rentier state model and revitalizing the five key sectors of the economy: agriculture, industry, tourism, investment, and technology.
