Sayyid Al-Hakeem Stresses Aiding Lebanese Refugees Using Official and Unofficial Lanes
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, met with the esteemed Iranian Ambassador, His Excellency Mohammad-Kazem Ale-Sadegh, and discussed the evolving political situation in the region and the escalating tensions in Gaza and Lebanon. His Eminence underscored the critical need for joint efforts to halt this war, which the israeli regime aims to broaden.
His Eminence also emphasized the importance of assisting displaced persons and boosting humanitarian efforts. We called for action through both formal and informal channels. H.E. praised the Iraqi government, holy shrines, and political and social institutions for responding to the call of the Supreme Religious Authority to provide relief. Furthermore, H.E. highlighted the significant contributions of the Iraqi people in this humanitarian endeavor.
In addition, H.E. urged for convening meetings of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Arab League, and other international organizations to apply pressure to end the war and ensure the enforcement of international laws, resolutions, and the outcomes of legitimate international frameworks on the occupying Israeli regime.
