Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Al-Hikmah Project Plays Key Role to Converge Perspectives, Offers Solutions to Iraq's Problems

In a meeting with a group of organizational leaders from the Hikmah National Movement in the South, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the Hikmah National Movement, addressed international circles that claim to advocate for human rights but are far removed from genuinely upholding them. H.E. cited their handling of the Palestinian issue and the actions of the Israelis, highlighting the double standards exhibited by the West regarding Arab and Muslim concerns. H.E. further stated that historical patterns reveal the suffering of the righteous in their struggle against falsehood, but assured that Allah will grant victory to the believers after testing their faith, so they may understand the true value of victory and divine support.
H.E. explained that Al-Hikmah Movement plays a significant role in bridging perspectives and presenting ideas and solutions to the problems facing Iraq. H.E. attributed the movement's effectiveness to its acceptance across all Iraqi regions, noting that part of the reason behind the targeting of the Hikmah Project lies in recognizing some of its potential impact if allowed to expand in its natural space.
H.E. also highlighted that moderation is a challenging approach, which has led to significant sacrifices for adhering to it, including defamation and accusations of betrayal. However, he emphasized that the Hikmah Movement refrains from reciprocating such attacks out of respect for the greater public interest. H.E. added that the South of Iraq has historically been a cradle of strong leadership through various phases of the country's history.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem stressed that political stability ultimately leads to improved services, popular satisfaction, and support for the political system. H.E. affirmed that achieving this requires empowering moderate forces within the country. H.E. called for the care and responsibility of organizing and guiding movements, stating that strong organizational structures are essential for the credibility and effectiveness of any project. H.E. emphasized the importance of enabling capable, influential, and dedicated individuals, giving them the responsibilities they deserve based on their abilities, and fostering the impact of the Hikmah National Movement.
H.E. also underscored the significance of building religious and political awareness, promoting the legacy of leaders and martyrs, and empowering the competent. Serving and communicating with the public must be a top priority, along with understanding the challenges and sacrifices faced by those in leadership positions. Lastly, he stressed the importance of continuing support for the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, particularly through political, media, and humanitarian efforts.
