Sayyid Al-Hakeem calls to address foreign ideas through necessary law enactment
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with His Eminence Dr. Sheikh Hamid Shahriari, the Secretary-General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought on 4/9/2023, and exchanged condolences on the occasion of the painful 40th anniversary of Imam Hussein “PBUH”. In addition to praising the strong collaboration between Iraq and Iran in guaranteeing the success of this visit and facilitating the reception and transportation of visitors and their return.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem emphasized the importance of preserving Islamic unity among Islamic schools of thought and the role of the followers of Ahl Al-Bayt “PBUT”, calling for them to be the core of this unity and its foundation.
His Eminence clarified the nature of challenges facing our Islamic societies, such as drugs and foreign cultures infiltrating our communities, stressing the need to address these challenges through the enactment of necessary laws that cut off their path and by fortifying Muslim youth intellectually and culturally.
H.E. also emphasized the importance of coordinating positions and communication between social and religious figures in Islamic communities, highlighting the necessity of this communication in sustaining dialogue between the region's factions and maintaining stability in the region.
Additionally, they discussed the evolving situation in Iraq, where it was pointed out that Iraq is experiencing an acceptable level of stability on political, security, social, and economic levels. Everyone was urged to take responsibility for maintaining this stability, given its active and influential role in the stability of the region and the world.
