Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Turning Heritage Sites Into Productive Tourism Projects Helps Maximize State Revenues
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, received His Excellency Baghdad Mayor Eng. Ammar Moussa, and discussed with him the services situation in the capital and the completion of service projects, contributing to improving the services provided to citizens.
H.E. stressed the importance of green spaces in the city and sewage projects, calling for phased and strategic projects and for integration of work with the governorate and the rest of the Iraqi state’s ministries.
H.E. said the state is suffering a financial squeeze as a result of declining revenues, which requires maximizing self-generated revenues, with the need to pay attention to heritage sites and convert them into productive tourism projects.
