Sayyid Al-Hakeem Stresses Popular Mobilization Forces’ Role to Achieve Security Gains, Preserve Them
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, received at his office in Baghdad the Head of the Popular Mobilization Authority, Mr. Falih Al-Fayyadh, and discussed with him the security situation in the country and Iraq after the end of the International Coalition’s missions and the restoration of national sovereignty, stressing the role of the Popular Mobilization Forces in achieving accomplishments and preserving them, as an official security institution subject to the authority of the state and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
H.E. stressed the need to sustain proactive operations and strike terrorism in its strongholds and prevent it from catching its breath, calling for sending reassuring messages among the Iraqi components and facing challenges with greater internal unity and cohesion.
