Sayyid Al-Hakeem: National Studies, Research Must Offer Practical, Implementable Solutions Reaching Decision-Maker
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, received Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bayt Al-Hikma, and listened to an explanation of the nature of Bayt Al-Hikma’s work and the tasks it undertakes, as well as the future projects included in its work plan.
H.E. stressed the importance of research, intellectual, and cultural institutions and the need to pay attention to them, calling for coordination, cooperation, and integration among them to contribute effectively to drawing up public policies and finding solutions to many of the challenges and obstacles facing the work of the central government and local governments.
H.E. pointed to the need for studies and research, in their titles and content, to align with government and national priorities and to carry practical, implementable solutions, with the importance of delivering them to the political decision-maker in Iraq.
H.E. also stressed the need to highlight the scale of the achievements made and the nature of the stability the country is witnessing, and for research centers to have an effective role in explaining the challenges Iraq faces, particularly the economic challenge, in terms of its nature and causes and how to benefit from it and draw lessons and morals.
