Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Iraqi Sovereignty Day Opportunity to Strengthen Societal Harmony, Internal Cohesion
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, met with a delegation from the Future Makers Organization headed by Kak Bestoon, and listened to an overview of the organization’s activities and the files it handles, explaining the importance of civil society organizations in the democratic system as a support for the executive institution.
H.E. stressed caring for young people, empowering them, and safeguarding them against alien ideas and dangerous pitfalls, explaining the importance of making use of Iraqi Sovereignty Day, which coincides with the end of the mission of the International Coalition to Combat Terrorism, in strengthening societal harmony and internal cohesion, and regarding the end of the International Coalition’s mission in Iraq as evidence of Iraq’s recovery and its having rid itself of terrorism.
