Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Palestinian Cause Support Firm, Renewed Iraqi Position
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, received at H.E.’s office in Baghdad Her Excellency the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Iraq, Ms. Samar Abdul Rahman, and discussed bilateral relations, support for the Palestinian cause, the right of the Palestinian people to their land, and safeguarding Muslim holy sites.
H.E. stressed the importance of the international community shouldering its responsibility toward what is happening in Palestine, explaining that Iraqis renew on every occasion their support for the just Palestinian cause, and calling for Palestinian unity in order to confront the existential challenges facing the cause.
