Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Universities Key Partner to Address Iraqi State Crises
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, received at his office in Baghdad Dr. Honar Issa, President of the American University of Kurdistan.
H.E. stressed the role of universities in supplying governments with the solutions needed for the crises and problems the Iraqi state suffers from, calling for attention to public affairs issues and for not limiting research and forums to regional and component-based issues.
H.E. pointed to the shared history with the Kurdish people since the religious authority of Imam Al-Hakeem (may his soul be sanctified) and his defense of the Kurdish people and preservation of their blood, calling for sustaining this relationship and introducing future generations to it, along with the importance of communication to unify the national vision on the country's major issues.
