Sayyid Al-Hakeem Affirms Twinning Iraqi, Iranian Universities Importance to Exchange Scientific Expertise
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, received at his office in Baghdad His Excellency Iran's Minister of Science, Research and Technology, Dr. Hossein Simaee Sarraf, and the accompanying delegation, discussing with him bilateral relations between universities, efforts toward their twinning, and the exchange of expertise between the two sides.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem stressed the need for university outcomes to be consistent with the labor market, calling for scientific research to focus on finding the necessary treatments for crises and challenges, and affirming the necessity of equipping university students with scientific knowledge.
H.E. also pointed to the impact created by the Arba'een visit, noting that Iraqis presented a shining image in serving the pilgrims of Imam Hussein from within the country and from various nations of the world, and stressed the strengthening of bonds between societies based on the great Husseini values and principles.
