    Sayyid Al-Hakeem: to Legislate Popular Mobilization Forces Law, Safeguarde Its Members' Rights, National Importance

    From Amiriyat Al-Fallujah in Anbar province, at the guesthouse of MP Faisal Al-Issawi, and in the presence of MP Salim Al-Issawi and a distinguished gathering of sheikhs and dignitaries of Albu Issa and Amiriyat Al-Fallujah, His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, recalled the fight against terrorism in these areas and the legacy of the heroic martyrs and their stand in difficult circumstances against brutality and barbarism, affirming that the security enjoyed today is the result of the pure, noble blood shed in defense of Iraq, and stressing the importance of upholding the institutions and entities that contributed to defeating terrorism, as well as the importance of integration among security institutions, calling for the legislation of the Popular Mobilization Forces law to guarantee the rights of its members, organize the institution, and strengthen its role within the Iraqi security system.
    H.E. noted that Iraq suffered a security and social challenge through terrorism and the turning of people against one another along sectarian or ethnic lines, stressing the importance of upholding social bonds and rejecting sectarianism, as it amounts to political sectarianism, and praising the generosity, hospitality, and warm welcome of the people of Anbar.
    H.E. called for fulfilling financial obligations toward employees, farmers, and contractors to sustain economic activity, achieve food security, provide job opportunities, and confront unemployment, as well as for delivering compensation and closing off avenues for those who exploit the system, and for including this in the upcoming budget.
