H.E. described the region's circumstances as exceptional, in light of the ongoing war and the significant harm Iraq has sustained from these events, noting that the crisis is a temporary one that can be overcome by understanding the circumstances and leveraging available capabilities, while affirming that Iraq had suffered security and social challenges but had overcome them, pointing out that the current challenge is economic, and expressing his confidence in overcoming this challenge, noting that the choice of prime minister was consistent with the nature of this challenge given his professional background and technical expertise.
H.E. explained the nature of the measures Iraq is working on, including raising oil production levels and diversifying export outlets, noting that this process requires massive investments and genuine economic partnerships, and affirming that Anbar has a major role to play in achieving these goals given its geographic location, pointing to Iraq's pursuit of new oil markets through diversified export outlets, in a way that strengthens Iraq's economic and political interests, and calling for closing ranks and understanding the nature of events and their potential outcomes.
