Sayyid Al-Hakeem: International Coalition's Mission End, Paves Way to Consolidate Weapons Under State Authority According to Iraqi Vision

At the conclusion of the first day of his visit to Anbar province, His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem met with a gathering of the province's elites and qualified figures, in the presence of His Excellency the Governor, Engineer Omar Mash'an Al-Dabbous. H.E. said that the tribes of Anbar represent an extension of the tribes of Iraq and the region, calling for optimism, spreading positivity, and highlighting the positive side of things, as well as for balance in dealing with events, placing this responsibility on the province's elites, affirming that Iraq will be better than it currently is, and noting that regional and international support for the government is significant and important.
H.E. stressed the importance of investing in Anbar's potential, including its gas resources through gas fields or associated gas, to achieve self-sufficiency and subsequently move toward export, noting that these resources strengthen Iraq's standing with regional and global countries and bolster the political system's standing, stressing national unity, managing diversity, respecting particularities, and dissolving sensitivities, describing Iraq's components as bridges connecting Iraq to the region and the world.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem affirmed that the role of Al-Hikma National Movement in the western provinces and the Kurdistan Region is a social role, not a political one, noting that Al-Hikma supports political forces in these provinces and works to empower them to deliver services to the people of these areas.
H.E. said that September 30 carries both an internal and external message, marking the conclusion of the international coalition's mission in Iraq, calling for opening a new chapter in relations with some coalition countries through bilateral relations with Iraq according to its needs and national interest, noting that the Strategic Framework Agreement with the United States is multifaceted and enjoys political and legal cover, affirming the need for similar agreements with other countries, pointing out that the conclusion of the international coalition will pave the way for consolidating weapons under state authority according to the Iraqi vision, and commending the factions' responsiveness to the call for consolidating weapons under state authority.
