    Sayyid Al-Hakeem Stresses Governance, AI to Strengthen/ National Security



    His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, received at his office this evening National Security Advisor Mr. Qasim Al-Araji, welcoming him to his new duties and wishing him success and accomplishment.

    The meeting addressed a number of security and strategic files, as H.E. affirmed the importance of preserving and strengthening the security stability achieved, continuing to pursue the remnants of terrorism and eliminate its cells, and denying it any opportunity to regroup or reorganize its ranks.

    On the development of the security apparatus, H.E. stressed the importance of adopting good governance and automation in security work, noting that reducing reliance on human effort and replacing it with technology raises the quality of performance and reduces time and cost. H.E. also called on the National Security Advisory to undertake an integrated strategic research role by preparing security studies and research in coordination with specialized academic and research institutions.

    H.E. gave particular attention to the files of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, affirming the need to invest in colleges and academic departments concerned with these specializations, and noting that modern technology has become a fundamental pillar for both strengthening national sources of income and preserving security at the same time.

    In conclusion, H.E. affirmed the importance of activating cooperation with neighboring countries and the international community on the file of extraditing wanted individuals and exchanging expertise in the field of counterterrorism.
